Slingshots, Fire, & lots of prayers (The Attack) 8/20 - ?

The plan of attack includes 3 rounds of double chemo that are spaced three weeks apart and then 6-8 weeks of additional chemo in combination with daily radiation. This treatment has up to a 90% success rate, as long as Torri can tolerate the attack going on in her fragile body.

August 20: Slingshots ready...Chemo was initiated along with several medications to prevent severe side effects. One of the chemo drugs is a continuous infusion for 96 hours and will be done on 8/24. This was a really rough week...lethargy, nausea, vomiting, headaches, ear aches, and NO APPETITE. I envision the research plant workers in hazmat suits with fire torches keeping the upside down from growing. I also know that Mike, Dustin, and Lucas are armed with their slingshot ready to aim and fire.

August 24: Week long Chemo infusion is complete! We had 2 visits to the cancer infusion center this week for anti-nausea medications and hydration. Glad she should be on the upswing and needs to restore her body before round 2.
