Battle #2

Chemo round #2 started on Monday 9/17/18 and lasted through Friday 9/21/18. This week of treatment was not much different than round #1. We learned many valuable lessons from round #1 and this battle we were armed with IV fluids, IV anti-nausea medications, and IV steroids to use at home to minimize the battle wounds. This did not fully prevent lethargy, headaches, nausea, and vomiting but Torri reported that this round was not as difficult as round #1. Dr. Haslem (Hopper) is adding Neulasta injections to her treatment plan and this will hopefully decrease the likelihood of low blood counts before the next round. Torri is so brave and blessed to be supported by amazing family and friends. Thank you all for taking up arms and joining her battle through support, love, and positive healing energy.
